History

Broncos Leagues Club opened its doors for the first time on Friday April 1, 1988 and in 2013 celebrated its 25th year in operation. Click here to watch our 25 year anniversary video.

Wests Juniors Football Club were the first to call Gilbert Park home, with the small clubhouse beside owned by Wests Old Boys, the two merged in 1967. It was then in 1987 when Wests Old Boys and Juniors were purchased to form Broncos Leagues Club, so that in 1988 when Brisbane Broncos were finally awarded entry to the New South Wales Rugby League Competition, the Club would be there to support and ensure their future success.
